Job Description
​​The Remote Operations Center Manager is pivotal in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of Regional Remote Operations Centres (ROCs). This role is responsible for optimizing operational performance, enforcing compliance with industry standards, and aligning regional strategies with the organization’s overarching goals. Through effective leadership, the Remote Operations Manager ensures that the ROCs contribute significantly to the company’s success in remote operations, embodying a commitment to safety, efficiency, and technological advancement.​
Job responsibilities:
Monitoring personnel utilization and supporting project managers maintaining accurate equipment rentals.
Ensuring adequate numbers of suitably trained operational personnel to support business requirements.
Creating operational plans to safely and efficiently execute project deliverables.
Creates emergency response plans to maintain operational continuity.
Maintain uptime rates of remote operations facilities.
Drives change in operational practices in line with Fugro Strategies.
You bring (qualifications & experience)
Bachelor’s in ​​​engineering, Technology Management, or a related field, Survey, Project Management or equivalent based on knowledge and experience.
Minimum of 8-15 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of demonstrated leadership and management experience.
​​Working experience in a Geodata ​.
​​Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
​Familiarity with current industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory standards.
​Willingness to travel for project oversight, team coordination, and stakeholder meetings.
​Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and operational requirements.
​A strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and quality control​.
