helloassist is looking for a Human Resources Generalist (REMOTE – WFH) to manage all HR activities, from employee onboarding to performance management and employee relations.
Human Resources Generalist responsibilities include connecting with employees online and offline, handling HR documentation, and supporting managers with their HR needs. If you have experience managing HR functions for roles in various fields and seniority levels, we’d like to meet you.

Results We Expect:

Monthly and quarterly Employee analytics reports depending on organizational needs

Annual Compliance reports or as required by regulations

Monthly presentation of HR-related updates or initiatives to management or staff or as new initiatives are rolled out

Development and delivery of training workshops on HR topics (DEI, Cultural Sensitivity, Sexual Harassment, etc)

Bi-annual Employee satisfaction surveys

Communication and roll out of new policies to employees: Immediately after updates or annually as part of policy reviews

Enrollment and administration of employee benefits programs as needed

Conducting internal audits to ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements

Your Responsibilities:

Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process

Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews and necessary documentation

Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues, resolving conflicts and promoting a positive work environment

Facilitate communication between employees and management

Maintain and update employee records and HR databases

Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Generate and analyze HR reports and metrics to inform decision-making

Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs

Support the development and implementation of compensation strategies

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role

Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), Google Suite, and MS Office applications

Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations

Excellent communication, active listening, and constructive feedback skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for addressing performance gaps and complex issues

Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, and manage time effectively

Exude leadership skills that inspires, motivates, and fosters a positive, inclusive work environment

Displays high accountability, integrity, and professionalism in handling confidential information

Continuous learner, adaptable to change, and embraces innovation and new technologies

Experience working on a Graveyard Shift

Experience of taking little direction and figuring things out on their own

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Outsourcing industry, or any relevant industries

Experience with Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and coordinating interviews, support hiring managers in the recruitment and selection process

Experience with Payroll Support: Processing payroll accurately and on time, handling payroll inquiries from employees, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and company policies, reconciling payroll discrepancies, and maintaining payroll records
