Role Overview Were currently on the lookout for Legal Assistants. Someone who ensures all procedures, documents, administrative tasks, and content for legal cases are in order. Your role Youll be responsible for reviewing, proofreading, organizing, transcribing, and correcting legal documents, while also ensuring that all information relevant to a case is in the designated space and category.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Communicating with clients and gathering the necessary documents and information to begin building a case, including client onboardings.
Drafting, proofreading, and filing or sending legal documents.
Managing administrative responsibilities, such as calendar and email management.
Filing and maintaining electronic documents and records.
Keeping clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress.
Submitting records and documents to respective courthouses within established deadlines.
What Were Looking For
At least one year of experience in a related position or a related qualification.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Advancednativelevel English written and spoken.
Killer organizational and planning abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Phone etiquette.
Stellar timemanagement skills.
Your own reliable PC, headset, and a speedy internet at least 3MBs.
Whats In It For You
Monthly Compensation of 1150 USD.
Salarycompensation paid in USD without the cost of wire transfer fees since payment is made through the Honduran company.
Social Security and retirement benefits and contributions.
13month payment in December of every year equal to 1 monthly salary if the employee has completed 1 year or more of continuous employment. If not, the employee shall receive the proportional amount for the time worked.
14month payment in June of every year equal to 1 monthly salary if the employee has completed 1 year or more of continuous employment. If not, the employee shall receive the proportional amount for the time worked.
Maternity Leave benefits for female employees.
Paid annual leavevacation after completing 1 year of continuous employment with the company in accordance with Honduras Labor Code.
After 1 year of employment 10 days.
After 2 years of employment 12 days.
After 3 years of employment or more 15 days.
Holiday pay rate where applicable.
