We are looking for the team leader to lead the team of Remote Diagnostics experts to strengthen our team and further grow the diagnostic services we offer through our Uptime center.
Your main tasks include development of strategy to expand Services of Uptime Center services across all regions globally. You will also be responsible for the overall team management, resource planning, technical reviews, delivery and competence development.
Through various connectivity solutions, Atlas Copco is capturing real time data about our machines on the field.
Combining this data with our technical knowledge about the equipment, allows us to remotely detect problems and understand the running conditions of the machines to act on it proactively. Aim is to increase uptime of the rental machines.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Your main task will be to manage the team for the execution of the monitoring of the machines in various assigned regions through below activities and not limited to,
Develop, implement, and control a competence program for the diagnostic engineers
In depth analysis of individual machines to predict potential failure based on monitoring and technical information of the machine
Clear advice or instructions to the regional teams and local service organizations to fix the root cause of the problem
In order to bring the insights into actions you will work closely collaborate with regional teams and divisional connectivity solution team.
Define and continuously improve the monitoring process at uptime center
To further increase the intelligence of the platform, input is required to further expand the logic and algorithms we use when performing pre-checks of events
Prepare a monthly report explaining the strengths and weakness based on the results
To succeed, you will need-
Bachelor of Engineering / Technology in Mechanical Engineering with 8 to 12 years of field Experience in Service on trouble shooting, Testing and Service of the Diesel driven machines.
Technical knowledge of portable air compressors, generators, Boosters and Steam machines would be an advantage
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Good analytical skills to help to translate data into business ideas
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and in cross-functional teams
Project management experience is a plus
Proficient in MS Office 365
Very good knowledge of English (oral and written) and presentation skills. Ability to communicate in other languages is a plus.
