The RM&D team connect to real time diagnostic information from customer facilities such as power plants, refineries, petro-chemical plants, wind farms and offshore oil & gas production assets.

Remote Monitoring & Diagnostic Engineer will carry out remote machinery and system related health assessments and complete associated reports as required by RM&D contracts. By using Bently software applications such as System 1, Cordant & Machinery Health, RM&D personnel can provide proactive as well as periodic and reactive problem identification and management. As a Lead RM&D Engineer, responsibilities includes mentoring the India RM&D Hub and ensuring technical quality is maintained for all contract deliverables.
As a Remote Monitoring & Diagnostic Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Reviewing remote machinery and system notifications and assess associated data to validate potential issues.

Logging and tracking issues using the web-based case management portal and producing technical exception and periodic based reports for presentation to the customer.

Collaborating and troubleshooting with Subject Matter Experts to resolve more complex customer machinery and system related issues.

Executing work according to Bently Nevada guidelines.

Identifying growth / upsell opportunities that assist the customer in achieving operational or maintenance targets or goals.

Leading customer RM&D / SSA technical review meetings.

Ensuring technical quality is maintained for all contract deliverables.

Mentoring RM&D team members.

Assisting in maintaining RMC infrastructure and conduct RMC demonstrations when required.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

Have minimum bachelor’s degree in any Engineering or Technical discipline.

Have a minimum of 6 years working experience in a condition monitoring / machinery diagnostics related role.

Have a minimum of ISO Cat 2 Vibration Analysis certification

Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.

Have a working knowledge of on & off-line condition monitoring systems (Bently Nevada System1 preferred) and associated transducers.

Have an experience with monitoring a wide range of both critical and balance of plant machine types covering fluid film and rolling element bearings.

Have an ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize & organize work, and meet deadlines.

Have an excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel.
