Job Description
Our Finance and Administration department delivers efficient and effective operations and processes that are foundational to EcoVadis’ ability to drive continuous improvement in companies’ sustainable business practices at scale.
As our Procurement Associate, you will provide EcoVadis with procurement expertise and assist stakeholders to plan, develop, source, negotiate and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet organizational, financial and business objectives.
Responsibilities will include, without being limited to:
Managing spend across multiple projects
Helping Business Unit managers achieve their budget by optimizing and pooling resources across Business Units
Proactively mitigating the supply risk; leading the preventive and corrective action plan process
PR to PO: Validate Purchase requisitions, Request for quotes from Suppliers for new products or services, Review quotes with Requesters and issue Purchase orders to Suppliers
Collecting, assessing and discussing business requirements and needs concerning goods / services to be purchased (quantities, specifications and services levels) within the assigned portfolio; ensuring that the product meets legislative requirements
Continuously benchmarking and improving the applicable vendor base; monitoring market, product and price development, and communicating internally with relevant stakeholders in order to support growth and profitability
Identifying, assessing and recommending potential vendors based on a set of established criteria and policies; preparing requests for quotations and working closely with vendors to optimize costs and quality; negotiating costs and terms for long term or key supply agreements
Carrying out regular audits of supplier performance
Qualifications
At least one year’s experience within a similar role within an international company, preferably in indirect segment.
Business proficiency in English and French, spoken and written
Proven ability to manage end to end RFx process
Proactive and self starter
Having excellent interpersonal skills; ability to liaise and work confidently and collaboratively with external and internal Stakeholders
Being highly organized; proficiency in managing documentation and monitoring progress within strict deadlines
Analyzing and assessing Commercial Contracts
Diligence, accuracy, attention to detail.
Having solid analytical skills; ability to conduct cost analyses and create financial reports; ability to collect, analyze and present data to the Stakeholders.
