And works in different sectors such as, WASH, Health, Education, Food Security, Livelihood and provision of different kinds of emergency response and relief to returnees, IDPs and affected people and SGOA provides humanitarian assistance in remote and underserved areas, promoting equal access to development and humanitarian aid. SGOA works with donors as like UNDP, UN Women, SFCG, SCI and NRC to enhance livelihoods, promote socio-economic inclusion, and deliver emergency relief.

Job Description:
Scope of Work
The Education Officer (GLTTA Certified) will oversee and manage the implementation of the education project in Kandahar Province, focusing on improving educational quality and access through the GLTTA framework. This role involves strategic planning, program management, and collaboration with local stakeholders to ensure the project’s success and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities: * Program Planning and Implementation:

Develop and implement the education project plan, aligning with GLTTA standards and local educational needs.

Coordinate with local education authorities, schools, and community organizations to ensure effective project delivery.

Training and Capacity Building:

Design and conduct training sessions for teachers, school administrators, and education stakeholders based on GLTTA methodologies.

Provide ongoing support and professional development to ensure the effective application of training concepts.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

Establish and manage monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems to assess education project progress and impact.

Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of training programs and educational interventions.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Foster relationships with local communities, educational institutions, and government bodies to support project objectives.

Facilitate collaboration and communication between various stakeholders to enhance project outcomes.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare regular reports on project activities, progress, and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant feedback, and project data.

Resource Management:

Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including budget management, to ensure efficient project execution.

Identify and address any resource gaps or needs to support project goals.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure that project activities comply with GLTTA guidelines, local regulations, and organizational policies.

Conduct regular reviews to ensure high standards of quality and effectiveness in project delivery.

Main Responsibilities * Program Development:

Develop a comprehensive education project plan incorporating GLTTA principles and addressing local educational challenges.

Training Facilitation:

Lead and deliver training programs for educators and administrators, focusing on enhancing teaching and learning practices.

Project Management:

Manage day-to-day project operations, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination with local partners.

Data Collection and Analysis:

Implement M&E strategies, gather data, and analyze results to evaluate project success and inform improvements.

Reporting and Communication:

Prepare detailed reports on project progress, achievements, and challenges.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure transparency and support for the project.

Budget Oversight:

Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial resources are used effectively and in accordance with project objectives.

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

A degree in Education, Educational Management, and must have GLTTA Certification or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in education or education project management are preferred.

Certification and Expertise:

Certification in GLTTA or equivalent advanced training programs in global learning and teacher training.

Proven expertise in GLTTA methodologies and educational frameworks.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in educational project management, with a focus on teachers training and capacity building.

Experience working in challenging environments or with underserved communities is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of GLTTA principles and their application in educational settings.

Excellent training and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.

Proficiency in education project management, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
