This position will be responsible for integrating different technologies within mechanics, optics, electrochemistry, material science and chemistry into world class consumables enabling diagnostic measurements through our instruments in hospitals all over the world. By applying system engineering principles and a strong technical understanding across disciplines you will contribute to our ability to deliver the best solutions for our customers. We expect that you can facilitate complex technical problem solving as well as continuously and proactively assess and mitigate technical risks. You will succeed in your role by working closely with highly skilled colleagues in different technology areas within R&D as well as with our key collaborators such as Production, Regulatory, Strategic Marketing etc.
This position is part of the Product Integration team in the Sensors, Solution & Accessory area which is part of Radiometer Global R&D. The position is located in Brønshøj, Copenhagen. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.
You will be a part of a newly established team where you will work with like-minded colleagues involved in different products and projects. Your everyday activities will be within cross-organizational project teams to drive efficient execution to support our ambitious agenda. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Work as Technical Lead in development projects and sustainment activities with high technical complexity ensuring the expected product performance at the right time and cost
Drive establishment of requirements, specifications and related verifications
Solve complex challenges by driving alignment and decisions including multiple technology areas as well as business needs
Build and drive external collaborations to support efficient and robust project result and execution
Establish new work processes and drive competency build-up for our newly established team
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science or similar within relevant engineering field eg Biomechanical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Multiple years of experience working with technically complex solutions combining multiple engineering disciplines
Documented experience of bringing products from idea to market utilizing Systems engineering principles and Design Control
A highly collaborative style of working and ability to drive decision making of complex problems
English (written and spoken)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience working with Design for Reliability and/or Design for Manufacturing
Experience working with Project management
