Our close client, an innovative financial services company, founded by social entrepreneurs is seeking to hire its first in-house attorney to serve as a corporate generalist. Hired attorney will advise business on significant transactions, negotiate and draft a variety of commercial agreements, work closely with customers on workout agreements, provide legal advice on operations and strategy, and assist with corporate governance. Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of experience gained either in a law firm or in-house setting. Prior corporate transactional and/or creditors’ rights experience preferred but candidates with experience in other areas, including bankruptcy, capital markets, and litigation will be considered.
