I have been a freelance online marketer for 9 years. In 2019 I specialized in performance marketing for ecommerce brands and lead generation accounts. My monthly service covers end-to-end campaign management for both Google and Meta ads. I am seeking to hire a Google Ads Specialist to manage Google ads for my clients. Based in Amsterdam, I work with Dutch clients who run both domestic and international campaigns (primarily in Germany, France, and the UK).
The Role
I am looking for a skilled SEA / Google Ads Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing result-driven Google Ads campaigns, with a focus on optimizing cost per lead and ROAS targets. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Google Ads campaigns, including setup, tracking, research, and continuous optimization.
Key Responsibilities

Campaign Setup & Management: Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns to meet cost per lead or ROAS goals.

Tracking & Analytics: Set up Google Tag Manager and GA4 tracking and enhanced conversion tracking to monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights.

Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research on competition, customer reviews, and industry trends to inform campaign strategies.

Copywriting & Creative: Write compelling ad copy and design engaging banners and videos. Collaborate on landing page copy and design.

Optimization & Reporting: Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns for better performance. Provide regular performance reports and insights to clients.

Client Communication: Maintain strong communication with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic recommendations.

AI assistance: Smartly make use of AI tools like ChatGPT for multi-lingual copywriting, banner design, ideation and more

Ideal Profile

Experience: 3-5+ years proven experience in managing Google Ads campaigns, preferably with lead generation and eCommerce brands.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills with experience in GA4, Google Tag Manager, Merchant Center keyword research tools, and PPC tools

Proficiency in persuasive ad copywriting in English

Deep understanding and experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, Merchant Center, Google Data Studio/Looker and feed management tools such as Channable.

Qualifications: Google Ads certification preferred. Knowledge of SEO and other digital marketing strategies is a plus.

Languages: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Dutch, German or French is a plus.
