ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Cloud Native Developer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our prominent client in the automotive industry. You will work with various cloud service providers and technologies to build scalable, efficient, and secure cloud environments. Your expertise in cloud services, DevOps practices, and containerization will be crucial in delivering robust solutions that meet the client’s high standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Cloud Service Management: Work with major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) to manage cloud infrastructure, including administration, networking, and storage systems. Utilize various service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (public, private, hybrid, multi-cloud) to design and implement cloud solutions.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
DevOps and CI/CD: Apply DevOps principles and practices to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and GitLab. Ensure smooth integration, deployment, and automation of cloud applications.
Scripting and Automation: Use scripting languages (Python, Golang, Bash) to automate tasks and develop solutions that streamline cloud operations and enhance efficiency.
Containerization and Orchestration: Implement containerization strategies using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and OpenShift to ensure scalable and resilient application deployments.
Configuration Management: Leverage automation and configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible) to ensure consistent and reliable cloud environments.
Networking and Security: Apply networking principles and protocols to design and manage secure cloud networks. Implement security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) and compliance standards relevant to the cloud.
Monitoring and Logging: Utilize monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack) to track cloud infrastructure performance, detect issues, and ensure system reliability.
Cloud Services: Extensive experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective administration, networking, and storage systems.
IaC and DevOps: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab).
Scripting and Automation: Strong skills in scripting languages (Python, Golang, Bash) for automating cloud operations and developing solutions.
Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Configuration Management: Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
Networking and Security: Knowledge of networking principles and protocols, as well as security best practices, IAM, and compliance standards relevant to the cloud.
Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack) for cloud infrastructure.
