Role: Geo-AI Engineer

Position Overview:
The Geo-AI Engineer will be responsible for creating and implementing advanced building rule violation detection algorithms using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras. The successful candidate will work within the ArcGIS Enterprise and Notebook Server/ ArcGIS Excalibur environment to analyze aerial and drone imagery, integrating geospatial data to identify and report violations.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy deep learning models for violation detection using PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.

Utilize ArcGIS Enterprise Notebook Server / ArcGIS Excalibur to process and analyze aerial and drone imagery.

Integrate building footprint data to enhance the accuracy of violation detection algorithms.

Collaborate with the GIS team to ensure seamless integration of AI models with geospatial data.

Optimize and fine-tune algorithms for performance and accuracy.

Conduct data preprocessing, augmentation, and annotation as necessary.

Perform thorough testing and validation of models to ensure reliability and robustness.

Document methodologies, processes, and results clearly and comprehensively.

Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, deep learning, and geospatial technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Geospatial Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in developing deep learning models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.

Strong proficiency in Python programming.

Experience with ArcGIS, specifically ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Notebook Server / ArcGIS Excalibur workflows.

Knowledge of geospatial data processing and analysis.

Familiarity with aerial and drone imagery analysis.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other geospatial software and tools.

Knowledge of remote sensing and image processing techniques.

Prior experience in urban planning or environmental monitoring projects.
