The Opportunity:
As an Manager on the Corporate Development and Pricing team, you will play a critical role in our organization by developing, evaluating, and implementing inorganic growth strategies, pricing initiatives and executing other strategic initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior executives, finance, operations, sales, and marketing, to develop and execute pricing strategies, evaluate business opportunities, and support the organization’s overall growth objectives.

What you’ll likely work on:

Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the corporate development & pricing team to develop and implement effective pricing strategies for our growing portfolio of products and services. Support the ideation and development of effective pricing and GTM KPIs as well as subsequent tracking to gauge efficacy of pricing strategies. Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer segmentation to identify pricing opportunities and optimize revenue generation.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support decision making, including full P&L modeling, cost modeling, pricing impact assessments, M&A accretion / dilution modeling, and profitability analysis, to support pricing strategy development and decision-making. Identify cost drivers and revenue optimization levers to maximize profitability while ensuring competitive positioning in the market.

Corporate & Business Development and Due Diligence: Support corporate development activities by conducting due diligence on potential partnerships, acquisitions, and investment opportunities. Evaluate the strategic fit, financial viability, and risks associated with potential transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial statements, market dynamics, and clinical / operational considerations.

Deal Structuring and Negotiation: Assist in structuring and negotiating pricing agreements and contracts with customers, vendors, and strategic partners. Collaborate with legal, finance, and sales teams to ensure optimal pricing terms, profitability, and risk mitigation.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, marketing, sales, and operations teams, to align pricing strategies with business objectives. Provide guidance and support to these teams on pricing-related matters, including deal-specific pricing recommendations and pricing policy enforcement.

Ad-Hoc Analysis and Special Projects: Engage in unique financial and business analyses, and collaborate with other departments within OneMedical and Amazon to provide strategic insights.

Research the Healthcare Ecosystem: Stay updated on healthcare industry regulations, compliance requirements, and pricing policies. Ensure pricing strategies and practices adhere to regulatory guidelines and are compliant with applicable laws.

What you’ll need:

2+ years of experience in investment banking or strategy consulting

3+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment, such as corporate development, pricing analysis, strategic planning, or related roles in the healthcare services industry

Financial Analysis: Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to perform complex financial modeling such as DCFs and M&A accretion/dilution modeling, cost analysis, and profitability assessments is required. Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools is necessary.

Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including healthcare services, reimbursement systems, regulatory environment, and industry trends. Knowledge of pricing methodologies, developing trends, and reimbursement models is helpful.

Corporate & Business Development and Due Diligence: Proven experience supporting corporate development activities, including conducting due diligence on potential partnerships, acquisitions, and investment opportunities. Experience in evaluating strategic fit, financial viability, and risks associated with potential transactions is valuable.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working with financial information are critical.

Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey pricing strategies, recommendations, and financial analysis to stakeholders at all levels. Ability to prepare and deliver compelling memos and presentations that are thoughtfully structured backed by clear rationale and objective data.

Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Blocking and tackling isn’t your day-to-day, but you should be comfortable stepping up in a pinch.

Team Collaboration: Strong experience and familiarity working with senior executives, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, marketing, sales, and operations, to align pricing strategies with business objectives.

Professionalism and Ethics: Commitment to ethical business practices, integrity, and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive financial and strategic information.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, healthcare administration, or a related field is required.

This is a full-time role based in NY or CA remotely
One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $90,500 to $161,000 per year. However, actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate. These factors include, but are not limited to, job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and specific work location. The total compensation package for certain roles may also include additional components such as a sign-on bonus, equity grants in the form of RSUs, medical and other benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
