SharePoint Developer Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer with
Government/Federal experience to join our team. The ideal
candidate will be proficient in creating and configuring SharePoint
websites, providing solutions to enhance business activities, and
customizing sites according to client requirements. This role
requires expertise in converting processes into SharePoint workflows
and adhering to systems engineering life cycle best practices.
SharePoint Developer Responsibilities:
1.
Develop a visually appealing Intranet Portal Collaboration Site
with a focus on Web look and Branding using SharePoint
platform or Live Tiles solution.
2.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java Script,

knowledge of SharePoint architecture and administration
4.
Experience with developing HR applications is a significant
plus.
5.
Experience with 508 compliances of the SharePoint site and
other digital communications efforts.
6.
Experience with user interface for SharePoint application
7.
Experience with SharePoint workflow application
8.
Experience with with HR and financial management-related
application on SharePoint.
9.
Create new landing pages, department templates/pages,
newsletters, banners, and videos accessible on any device.
10.
Implement, deploy, package, and maintain new Intranet
portal sites and SharePoint sites.
11.
Utilize SharePoint Framework SPx to design websites with
OOTB, UI extension, page layouts, themes, and display
templates.
12.
Code pages using HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery,
CSS, SQL, Bootstrap, or responsive design for all devices.
13.
Create web parts, lists/libraries, content types, site
columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and
manage data.
14.
Build workflow forms using SharePoint Designer,
PowerApps, and Flow.
15.
Migrate data from SharePoint Online to SP
2010/2013/2016 using migration tools such as Sharegate,
Quest, or Metalogix.
SharePoint Developer Requirements:
1.
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a SharePoint developer
role, working with SharePoint Online/O365 and SharePoint On-
Premise 2013/2016.
2.
Proficiency in SharePoint framework, building sites in hybrid
environments, and development and administration.
3.
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask,
and manage time appropriately.
4.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical
skills.
5.
Flexibility, resourcefulness, and the ability to work in a fast-
paced business environment with special requests.
6.
Basic knowledge and understanding of the SDLC process,
performing unit testing, and packaging for deployment from
DEV to PROD.
7.
Strong knowledge of the .Net framework (C#), IIS, Azure Active
Directory, and SharePoint site configuration.
8.
Strong project management skills.
9.
Expertise in building and/or maintaining collaboration sites
and/or programs.
10.
Excellent knowledge of UI/UX
