We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial transactions using QuickBooks as the primary tool. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, with the ability to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management. The Bookkeeper will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
QuickBooks Management: Use QuickBooks to manage and record all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize expenses, ensuring they are correctly allocated to the appropriate accounts.
Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
Tax Preparation: Support tax filing processes by maintaining organized records and providing necessary documentation to external tax preparers.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and company policies.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
Qualifications:
