Xpand Team is on the lookout for a passionate Junior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. Whether you prefer working from the office, fully remote, or a combination of both, we offer the flexibility to choose what suits you best!
Your responsibilities:

Autonomously design, develop and execute tests

Communicate with other departments on tasks

Write technical documentation

Register work items in a bug tracking system

Follow quality assurance practices

Carry out maintenance of the test environment

Work with development and support teams to reproduce and debug complex issues

Key requirements:

Internship or completed software testing courses

Higher technical education or degree in Economics/Logistics

Knowledge of the bug/task tracking methodology (for example JIRA, TFS, VSTS)

Knowledge of software testing methodology and documentation principles: test cases, test plans, test scenarios, etc.

Understanding of the basic principles of working with database management systems (such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server)

Understanding of automated software testing

Analytical skills

Attention to details

Strong desire for quality

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Upper Intermediate level of English (both speaking & writing)

It would be a plus if you have:

At least 6 months of practical experience

A technical and/or programming background (XML, .NET, UML, VB, C#, etc.)

Experience of working with ERP, CRM or SCM systems
