Senior Accountant (8m JPY, Hybrid Remote Work OK!)
Our client are a leading retail group, recruiting a Senior Accountant.
You’ll work on a range of financial management and reporting functions, focusing on accounts receivable, asset management, and ERP system implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead projects to improve financial processes.
– Manage retail and wholesale accounts receivable.
– Reconcile sales data with accounts receivable.
– Issue debit notes to wholesale customers.
– Post transactions to the ledger.
– Reconcile accounts payable with bank statements.
– Prepare and execute bank transfers online.
– Report monthly cash flow to global CFO.
– Help create financial reports for local stakeholders and global headquarters.
– Analyze and manage HR and IT expenses.
– Use SAP for financial reporting.
– Assist with ERP system deployment and interface.
– Manage fixed and leasehold assets using PCA depreciation software.
Qualifications:
– Experience in financial management.
– Experience in retail businesses strongly preferred.
– Experience with international brands preferred.
– Experience with SAP / ERP (preferred).
– Knowledge of fixed asset management in retail (preferred).
– Familiarity with IFRS or U.S. GAAP.
– MUST be fluent in Japanese.
