Context:
UNHCR relies on various dashboards to visually represent critical data, supporting decision-making processes and communicating key information to stakeholders. These dashboards must not only function effectively but also adhere to UNHCR’s graphic brand identity to ensure a visually cohesive and impactful presentation.
We seek the expertise of a skilled graphic designer to elevate the visual quality of these dashboards, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and accessible on all devices, including mobile phones. This role focuses on transforming data into visually engaging and brand-aligned graphics that resonate with diverse audiences.

Task description:
For the task of enhancing the visual design of UNHCR’s dashboards, we seek support from Online Volunteers, who under the guidance of the Information Manager will:
1- Graphic Design Enhancement:
– Review the current dashboard designs and identify areas for visual improvement in line with UNHCR’s graphic brand identity.
– Redesign the visual elements, including colors, fonts, icons, and layouts, to ensure a cohesive, professional, and visually engaging look.
– Create visually appealing graphics and data visualizations that improve the readability and impact of the data presented.
– Create a standard template of the dashboard
2- Brand Alignment:
– Ensure all design updates strictly adhere to UNHCR’s branding guidelines, creating a consistent visual identity across all dashboards.
– Propose design solutions that enhance the storytelling aspect of the dashboards, making complex data easily understandable and visually attractive.
3- Collaboration and Feedback:
– Collaborate closely with the Information Manager and other relevant team members to align design improvements with project goals.
– Provide regular updates and progress reports to the designated supervisor.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in graphic design, particularly in creating visually compelling data visualizations and infographics.
– Strong understanding of branding and visual identity principles.
– Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar graphic design software.
– Experience with responsive design principles is a plus, but not required.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
