Job main scope:
The Administration Officer will work remotely, efficiently managing administrative tasks and overseeing the company’s diverse insurance portfolio. This role combines administrative support across all departments with responsibility for medical health insurance, and general insurance policies like property insurance, all risk insurance etc The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, in-depth knowledge of insurance practices and requirement, and the ability to work independently while collaborating virtually with various departments.
Minimum required educational level: Bachelors degree in business administration, finance or related field.
Minimum required experience:
Previous work experience in the UAE is essential. The candidate MUST have a deep understanding of the local business environment, culture, and regulatory landscape.
5 to 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in administration or and 3 years in corporate insurance management. Experience in a remote or hybrid work environment is a plus.
Additional Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones.
Pre-requisite skills & training:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace
Experience with project management tools and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
Strong knowledge of virtual collaboration tools and cloud-based file sharing systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote work setting
Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making with minimal supervision
In-depth knowledge of various insurance types, including health, property, liability, and specialty lines
Strong understanding of risk assessment and management principles, particularly in technology-related fields
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex insurance policies and financial data
Superior negotiation skills for dealing with insurance providers and brokers virtually
Professional insurance certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM, CRM) highly desirable.
Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to business operations, labor, and insurance in the UAE. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to stay current with regulatory changes and apply this knowledge effectively in their role.
