Structural Engineer-Remote
This is a Remote Direct Hire Civil Engineer opportunity for a Construction company located in South Central Indiana. We”re seeking a dedicated professional to work on diverse projects, from reinforced concrete and steel structures to wood and masonry building systems. Job Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, and create structural plans for buildings, foundations, and support systems

Ensure designs meet all building codes and industry standards

Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, vendors, and clients to solve design and construction challenges

Review and check construction documents for accuracy and compliance

Provide technical direction and support to construction teams

Assist with construction planning, problem-solving, and value engineering to enhance efficiency

Conduct peer reviews and support the resolution of field issues in real time

Prepare drawings, takeoffs, and sketches to support ongoing construction work and change orders

Communicate with clients and project teams to address technical concerns

Ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables and maintain project documentation

Pay/Benefits:

Up to $130K based on experience

Remote Option (Ideal candidate will be able to travel to Central Indiana 1 week every other month for site meetings)

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent technical training)

Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with concrete, steel, and wood design and analysis

Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred

Expertise in construction methods, building codes, and structural analysis software

Strong CAD skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and other relevant tools

Excellent communication skills to work effectively with engineers and non-technical personnel

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
