The Position
Offshore Commercial provides flexible outsourced accounting and payroll solutions that deliver real commercial value. The company is located in St. Peter Port, Guernsey, offering a hybrid work environment with flexibility for some remote work and flexi-time, ensuring staff can mould work around their own commitments.
This is a full or part time Bookkeeper role. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, bookkeeping tasks, bank reconciliations, sales/purchase ledger management and running client Xero or QuickBooks accounts. This role is hybrid, with the option for some remote work. The candidate could also be expected to work onsite at clients, if applicable.
The Responsibilities
Bookkeeping
Invoicing
Recording supplier bills
Payment of bills in online banking systems
Bank reconciliations
Administrative support to management as requested
Running a trial balance in the system
Chasing outstanding client debtors
Experience / Qualifications / Education
Previous bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Accounting Software (Xero and QuickBooks experience desired but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
