As a Senior Patient Care Coordinator you’ll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. You’ll be supporting Oncology and office-based medication orders, working closely with the Team Sr Lead, SME and Supervisor, as well as other teams and Leaders as necessary. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling deliveries, resolving issues on orders, and working the team’s mailbox and reports. Through your hard work, you will maintain a high level of customer service, maximize productivity and time management, and focus on your drive to achieve. This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You’ll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information. It’s a fast paced, high-volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes life – saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.

This is a Remote role unless you are located in Birmingham, AL (if in Birmingham, AL – will be required to work onsite)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5am-1:30pm PST (Hours of Operation: 5am – 5pm PST with possibility for overtime depending on business need)
Primary Responsibilities:

Verify appropriate and accurate patient information

Contact patients, pharmacists, and providers to resolve issues

Other assignments and projects as needed

End to end case managing of prescription orders/patient accounts

Support inbound calls received through the team’s private extension

Maintain proficiency and quality as standardized by the department

Required Qualifications:

Must be 18+ years or older

3+ years of Customer Service experience

3+ years of Specialty IRIS experience

Intermediate proficiency with computer navigation and Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint

Ability to work Monday – Friday, 5am – 1:30pm PST
