Our Story
WASABIT began its journey in 2016 as a specialized agency dedicated to hiring web engineers. By 2018, we transitioned to a remote recruitment and talent acquisition-as-a-service model. During our pilot phase, clients found that we delivered exceptional results at a fraction of the cos, up to one-tenth of our competitors’ fees. Since then, we have steadfastly focused on securing top talent for startups, streamlining their hiring processes, and mitigating recruitment risks. We handle recruitment across all levels and functions.

The Position – Remote work from anywhere in the world
The Talent Acquisition Specialist role plays a crucial role in the client’s recruitment efforts, responsible for identifying, engaging, assessing, and presenting top-tier talent. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, attracting and identifying suitable candidates, managing the interview process, conducting interviews, and guiding both candidates and clients through the recruitment journey.
– Proactively source passive candidates and build robust talent pipelines
– Conduct online interviews and evaluate candidates
– Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all recruitment activities
– Provide a positive experience throughout every stage of the recruitment process
– Cultivate strong relationships with founders, CEOs, hiring managers, and HR to develop candidate profiles and identify target sources
– Offer consultative services, including regular reporting and the development of sourcing strategies as required
Employment type: Full Time / Part time / Contract (We welcome any employment type based on your lifestyle!)
Hours for Part time: 10~40hours per week (Weekends are great to have)
Required Skills

Language Proficiency: Native or business level in both Japanese and English, with strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)

Interpersonal Skills: Building and maintaining relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, candidate availability, and recruitment strategies.

Self-motivated: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Technological Proficiency: Comfort using technology for remote interviews, virtual meetings, and other recruitment-related activities.

Required work environment

Reliable high-speed internet is essential for conducting online meetings

Quiet work environment required for professional online interviews

Daily time tracking and reporting are necessary due to remote work arrangements

Great to have

Experience in Talent Acquisition, including direct sourcing, recruitment agency, or RPO environments

Understanding of Employment Laws: Knowledge of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process.

Knowledge of Recruitment Tools: Familiarity with various recruitment platforms, such as LinkedIn, job boards, and applicant tracking systems.
