Job Description:
Play a lead role in driving insights to influence General Mills grocery channel such as ADUSA, Publix and HEB. Your work will help identify opportunities for General Mills and our top customer to grow together with best-in-class insights. Working closely with Sales, Brand, Centralized and Operating Unit Consumer Insights and other cross functional partners, you will influence with actionable insights to keep our organization and our customer focused on consumer/shopper first, and make insights-based decisions.
You’ll love the rich experience offered in this role – you will be working on multiple brands and various Grocery customers. Using both syndicated and quant/qual primary insights, you will bring together actionable insights to influence strategy, support selling opportunities and ultimately drive sales growth.
You will also have tremendous leadership visibility in this role. Your daily audience includes Sales Senior Managers and Directors, and you will frequently interact with cross functional teams. You will also have plenty of opportunities to present both internally and externally to customer.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Use a variety of data sources to create compelling insights stories to influence customer strategy and help set up the sale to drive growth

Anticipate and articulate compelling insights about the shopper, the customer and marketplace

Present insights to customers

Maintain a growth mindset and continue to evolve ways of working and build best practices.

Be an active member of the Shopper Insights team and help build an open and constructive team culture

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Data Analytics or related field

2+ years experience in consumer insights or related field

Strong ability to synthesize data sources and inputs to craft a simple, compelling story

Positive track record working with cross functional team and building effective relationships

Willing to learn and leverage new tools

Comfortable with fast-paced and agile work environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in Shopper Insights or Category Insights

Experience with Numerator

Experience with survey tools

Strong command of syndicated toolkit

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS

We are open to 100% remote candidates with occasional travel based on business needs.

International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $91900.00 – $153300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee’s pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
