MORE ABOUT THE ROLE
What a day/week is like:
As a consultant, our days are a mix of writing and reviewing code, solving bugs, and tackling new challenges. We spend time meeting with clients to understand their needs, then work on designing solutions that meet our high-quality standards. Since our work is on Medical Imaging products, attention to detail and strict quality processes are essential. We also help out teammates, write documentation, and contribute to open-source projects. Some days, we are diving into problems no one on the team has faced before, which keeps things interesting. It’s not just about writing code but figuring out how to make things work better.
Why this work matters:
The work we do here matters because it directly impacts people’s health and well-being. We’re not just writing code; we’re building tools that help radiologists and doctors make accurate diagnoses, plan treatments, and monitor patients. Knowing that the software we create can literally save lives and improve someone’s quality of life is what makes this job so fulfilling. It’s incredibly motivating to know that our work in medical imaging makes a real difference, and we’re always pushing to create high-quality solutions that healthcare professionals can rely on.
What is fun and interesting about the work we do:
The work we do is both challenging and exciting. We are constantly learning, whether it’s about medical imaging, image processing, optimization, or even AI. It’s not the typical CRUD work—every project brings something new and complex to solve. We get to work with cutting-edge technologies like 3D imaging and real-time processing while collaborating with a mix of developers, physicians, and other professionals. Plus, it’s awesome to see how our code can transform raw data into tools that healthcare pros use for critical decisions. The team here is great, and the relaxed environment makes it even more enjoyable.
Who we work with:
We work with a diverse team of professionals, including software engineers, QA specialists, DevOps, tech leads, and product managers. You’ll also collaborate with radiologists, researchers, clinicians, and specialists in imaging and AI.
