This is a remote and fully work-from-home job.
Responsibilities:
Create customer invoices and record day-to-day expense entries in the accounting system.
Assisting in the payroll process and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Update vendor invoices in the accounting system.
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by entering data into the accounting system and Microsoft Excel.
Provide general administrative support to the finance team and handle tasks as required.
Assist in the month-end financial closing process and preparation of reports.
Help manage accounts payable and receivable by processing payments and invoices.
Support the Senior Accountant with ad-hoc accounting activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Prior experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
