We’re currently hiring Data Analyst Interns to join our teams remotely in Summer 2025.
This is a full-time, 10-week internship that begins in early June 2025. Work may be done remotely from any U.S. location, or hybrid from Reston, VA. At this time, we are unable to provide relocation nor housing assistance for this internship.
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will:
Support Data Analysts and Engineers in project delivery
Clean and standardize data using industry best practices
Develop data profiling, analysis, and documentation
Perform process and data quality assurance; includes writing and reviewing SQL, python, R queries
Create dashboards and reports using modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) to provide insights into system performance, project milestones, and user adoption in real-time.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, developers, business analysts) to provide data-driven insights that inform decisions
Basic Qualifications:
Currently completing a Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or related field with a graduation date after August 2025
Interns should have:
Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with a foundation in basic programming and problem-solving techniques.
Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as R or Python.
Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
Skilled in managing time effectively, staying organized, and producing clear reports.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
Hands-on experience with cloud services for data, such as AWS or Azure.
Understanding of general application programming principles and database concepts.

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $32,591.00 – $55,405.00
