Primary Responsibilities:
Implementation & Management of VDI Infrastructure Implementation, Management & Lifecycle encompassing Gateways, Connection Servers & AppVolumes Servers
Ensuring frequent & comprehensive Backups in accordance with System backup guidance/design
Implementing DEV, Staging, PROD & DR Infrastructure
Interfacing w/TCC & EMS for monitoring, alerting & notifying on pertinent & critical objects & services
Ensuring for 99.95% Uptime Yearly SLA
Implementing, Administering & troubleshooting VDI / Horizon RDSH Farms

Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working with the following technologies:
VMware Horizon Gateways, Connection Servers, Integration with vCenter Server, App Volumes.
SolarWinds, AriaOps, WorkSpace One Intelligence Hub.
Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop Session Hosts (RDSH)
VMware Dymanic Environment manager
Microsoft FSLogix
Experience with VMware Virtualization systems including VMWare vSphere and vCenter, VMware Horizon version 7 or 8, Windows Server Builds & Administration
US Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability or determination of eligibility for a confidential/secret or top secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
General networking and infrastructure knowledge especially with troubleshooting issues beneath the application level
Good organizational & communication skills, especially with written documentation

As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group’s contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86, (the National Agency Check Legal and Credit or NACLC). Successful completion of the NACLC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NACLC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received. Failure to obtain final NACLC approval will result in termination from this role.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
