Positions in this function prepare responses to regulatory requests related to FWA to ensure compliance with regulators and contractual requirements. Establish and implement standard policies, procedures, processes and best practices across UHG to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations. Interpret requests and collect required information and documentation for responses to mitigate risks and achieve compliance.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours.
Travel: 0-10%.

Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze, prepare, and fulfill responses to regulatory requests from governmental agencies for health care fraud related information
Independently manage an assigned territory specific caseload, coordinating with internal and external partners to obtain information from many different contacts and systems to ensure accurate and timely responses
Access and review requested information including complex claims data, medical records, and other medical provider and member related documentation
Mitigate risk and ensure compliance with requests and deadlines to ensure that materials are sent in compliant manner in adherence with minimum necessary standards
Establish and implement standard policies and procedures and best practices

Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working with managed care or health care insurance in a regulatory or compliance role or with health care fraud related investigations
3+ years of experience working in a highly matrixed environment with proven ability to develop strong relationships and be successful in obtaining new and complicated information
3+ years of experience as an active and engaged participant in a remote team environment
Intermediate proficiency with verbal and written communication of complex information as well as proficiency with MS Office – Excel Word, Power Point, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
