We are presently recruiting a Tekla Detailer for our clients, a leading fabrication company in County Kerry. You will be tasked with creating detailed 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures software. You will produce fabrication and erection drawings, ensuring accurate dimensions and connections and will coordinate with engineers and architects to meet project specifications, resolve technical issues, and ensures compliance with industry standards for steel detailing. This position can be on site in County Kerry, hybrid or fully remote.
Responsibilities within post:
Create 2D and 3D technical drawings and models for use in all aspects of production, including but not limited to programming, fabrication, welding, assembly and site installation.
Ensure all drawings are created in line with ISO9001 and EN1090 requirements.
Liaise with clients and client representatives to ensure all jobs are completed to specifications provided with corresponding sign-off attained.
Work with the site survey and site installation team to ensure all jobs are completed as per client requirements.
Conduct clash detection and resolve technical issues.
Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines.
Experience, skills and qualifications:
Minimum of two years’ experience specifically with Tekla software.
Minimum of two years’ experience specifically with Tekla software.
Relevant qualification in architectural technology or engineering stream.
Advanced AutoCAD Tekla Structures.
Knowledge of EN1090 Standard and ISO 9001 Quality Standard.
This is a full time, permanent position with the option of remote working if required. Salary is open to negotiation, based on experience and in the region of €40 – €50,000. For further information, please email me directly at
