This position is for the oversight of the Regional HouseCalls program which delivers in home annual wellness exam to all qualified Medicare Advantage Members, Community and State members and several other plans.
HouseCalls is a unique program designed to enhance and improve quality care for our members. We provide in home assessments to members and tailor our care based on the individual and their health care needs.

Primary Responsibilities:
Leading and directing all clinical functions to ensure optimal performance
Developing policies and procedures to ensure quality and performance meet expectations
Researching and providing appropriate recommendations for improving processes and implementing new programs. Use STARS and HEDIS quality measures to guide these decisions
Work with Training and Development to develop education and training for the clinical teams
Workforce management: Manage the demands of a rapidly changing staffing environment with resilience. Analyzes and makes fact based decisions utilizing forecasting model
Assuring performance adheres with established quality standards, evidenced based practice guidelines and departmental benchmarks and workflows
Perform yearly common reviews and continually manage performance
Ensure enterprise, department, HIPPA, and regulatory compliance: Maintaining security of Protected Health Information (PHI) and Intellectual Property (IP)
GSS functions: Update status change, terminations, PTO management, population and network development reconciliation.
Regular meetings and collaboration with supporting departments to ensure operational efficiency
Represents HouseCalls in a positive, solution focused manner that embodies our corporate values: Integrity, Compassion, Relationships, Innovation and Performance
Develop strategies to increase job satisfaction and reduce turnover rates
Identify key talent and provide opportunities for professional growth and career advancement
Assure staff receives the appropriate orientation, training and ongoing professional development
Mentor and support for Clinical Team Managers and HouseCalls Practitioners
Minimum 25% travel

Required Qualifications:
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program: Masters or Doctoral prepared
GNP, FNP, ANP, board certified and eligible with an unencumbered license to practice in assigned state
7+ years of practice experience in a clinical setting
3+ years of management and leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a home setting
Experience in working within a managed care environment
Knowledge of HEDIS and STAR quality measures
Proficiency in Clinical Documentation and Quality Improvement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
