Job Description:
As a Senior Backend (Laravel) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems. Your primary focus will be on building custom Laravel applications that meet our business needs and contribute to our overall success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the highest level of performance and responsiveness.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain custom Laravel applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
OpenAPI: Redoc API documentation and SDK generation
Backend API application
: Backend API : job queueing and UI to monitor it : complete server logging and UI to monitor it : Backend testing for unhanded exception reporting and UI to monitor it * Design and implement scalable and secure backend solutions.
Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on PHP and Laravel.
Proven experience in building custom Laravel applications.
Deep understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and data structures.
Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with other PHP frameworks and modern JavaScript frameworks.
