Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QlikView Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of hands-on experience in QlikView and a strong background in developing, testing, and deploying complex analytical solutions. You will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, analyze source systems, and create data models and dashboards that drive business insights. This role is critical to delivering high-quality data visualizations and reporting solutions to meet our customers’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy analytical solutions using QlikView.
Conduct detailed analysis of source systems and source data to effectively model that data in QlikView.
Design, develop, and test QlikView scripts to import data from various sources such as data feeds, flat files, and databases.
Create, develop, and optimize QlikView dashboards that are visually appealing and provide actionable insights for end-users.
Participate in business requirements and design review sessions, ensuring alignment with technical specifications.
Provide technical insight and knowledge during design workshops to support solution development.
Interpret and translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure accurate implementation.
Create and maintain technical design documentation to ensure clarity and consistency in development.
Ensure that all QlikView development is performed with a focus on quality, adhering to both business and technical specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6-8 years of experience in QlikView development.
Strong understanding of QlikView architecture, including data modeling, scripting, and dashboard creation.
Proficient in analyzing source systems and performing data modeling for optimal data visualization.
Experience in developing QlikView scripts for data import from various source systems (databases, flat files, data feeds).
Expertise in creating highly interactive and intuitive QlikView dashboards.
Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical design documents.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and performance optimization.
Experience working in design workshops, providing actionable technical insights.
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Qlik Sense is a plus.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in SCRUM teams.
QlikView certification is highly desirable.
