Position Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Ecommerce Consultant to join our dynamic Growth team. As an integral member of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client’s ecommerce initiatives.
We’re seeking a candidate with a proven track record of designing and implementing innovative ecommerce strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in increasing website traffic, boosting sales, enhancing customer experiences, and fostering long-lasting customer relationships. We’re looking for a candidate with a keen eye for profitability who can develop commercially viable ecommerce roadmaps.
This position will involve close collaboration with our Account Managers and clients to develop tailored ecommerce roadmaps. Together, we’ll work to identify their specific business objectives and create strategic plans that deliver measurable results in key areas such as traffic acquisition, conversion optimisation, sales growth, and customer retention.
Responsibilities
Ecommerce Strategy Development:
– Perform a comprehensive audits of the client’s ecommerce website and operations to identify areas for improvement and growth.
– Develop comprehensive ecommerce strategies that align with client business goals and target market.
– Create detailed roadmaps outlining actionable steps to drive traffic, trading, transacting, and retention.
– Demonstrate a strong instinct for value for money and ensure that all ecommerce roadmaps are commercially viable. This includes identifying and implementing cost-effective strategies that deliver a positive return on investment.
Data Analysis and Insights:
– Utilise analytics tools to gather and analyse data on website traffic, user behaviour, sales performance, and customer demographics.
– Identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategy development and optimisation.
– Provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients based on data analysis.
Client Collaboration:
– Work closely with Account Managers to understand client needs and challenges.
– Communicate effectively with clients, presenting complex data and strategies in a clear and concise manner.
– Build strong relationships with clients and foster trust and collaboration.
Project Management:
– Collaborate with Account/Project Managers to develop detailed project plans for implementing ecommerce strategies, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.
– Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and take corrective action as needed.
Team Collaboration:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, development, marketing, product, sales) to ensure seamless execution of ecommerce strategies.
– Share knowledge and expertise to contribute to the overall growth and development of the team.
Required Qualifications
– Minimum 3 years of experience in ecommerce consulting or a related field.
– Experience with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento).
– Strong understanding of ecommerce fundamentals, encompassing customer acquisition, conversion rate optimisation, search engine optimisation, pay-per-click advertising, email marketing, and social media marketing.
– Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., GA4, Hotjar, Mouseflow, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio).

– Ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems.
– Excellent written communication skills and ability to prepare reports and slide decks.
– Must be able to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Comfortable working on and collaborating with a multi-channel team.
– Ability to work remotely and communicate on Zoom, Slack etc.
Location
Ireland is ideal, but our entire team is working remotely at present, so location is not an issue.
