In line with our increasing business, we are looking for qualified and experienced candidates for Remote Sensing Engineer to be based in our Thailand office.
As an engineering consultant company, GIS & Remote sensing are key foundations for our engineering designs and solutions. The demands of supports for our renewable energy and hydropower business have been constantly growing. We are therefore looking for a remote sensing engineer who is enthusiastic in innovations to join our GIS and data visualization team.
Job Description

Retrieve, analyses and create spatial solutions based on remote sensing data to support environmental assessment and energy projects.

Perform various GIS analysis, including

Remote sensing analysis – drone photogrammetry, image classification, land use change detection, biomass quantification, LiDAR data processing

Topography analysis – process and examine Digital Elevation Model.

Hydrography analysis – utilizing ArcGIS hydrological tools

Potential site identification via multi-criteria analysis

Create map presentations and visualizations.

Conduct field surveys using drones and GNSS receivers.

Support research and development tasks as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Remote Sensing/ Geomatic/ GIS/ Earth Sciences/ Computer sciences or related field.

Strong background knowledge and experiences in remote sensing, GIS, cartography, geodetic and coordinate systems.

Familiarity in working with ESRI suites (ie. ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcMap) Google Earth Engine, Google Earth, Global Mapper, Agisoft Metashape.

GIS-related coding skills (eg. Python with Arcpy, Geopandas, GDAL, NumPy)

Strong problem-solver and team player.

Thai nationality

Any of the following is considered a plus

Experience in renewable energy/ hydropower/ environmental projects

CAD drawing preparation using Autodesk suites

Knowledge in survey principal ie. DGPS, Receivers, CORS, and perform network adjustment.

Database management (ie. PostGIS/ PostgreSQL) and data analytic skills
