Job Title: Senior Fullstack Ruby on Rails Engineer – Remote
About the Role:
We’re seeking a Senior Fullstack Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our remote team in building an
advanced telemedicine platform for men’s health. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that
emphasizes rapid, safe iteration using continuous integration, TDD, and pair programming when
appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
Write and ship high-quality code across the entire stack
Contribute to product iteration and development
Improve engineering standards and processes
Collaborate across functional teams to translate business ideas into software designs
Maintain focus on data management and security to protect customer privacy
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in product software development, especially public consumer web
applications
Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React.js/Redux/ImmutableJS
Proficiency in unit testing and integration testing
Experience or interest in pair programming
Startup/high-growth experience highly preferred

DTC/e-commerce or telehealth. You excel in both backend and frontend development, bringing

Tech Stack:
Ruby on Rails, React.js, Redux, Immutable.js, Event Sourcing, TDD, Queue/Background

Nice-to-haves:
Familiarity with Event Sourcing and functional programming patterns
TDD experience
Experience with queue/background processing and 3rd party integrations (e.g., Stripe, 3PL)
Compensation:
Salary: $130k – $160k
Equity: 0.1% – 0.5%
Location: Remote or Santa Monica, CA
Position: Full-time, W-2 role
Hiring Goals: 5 hires before EOY
6+ years of experience in product software development, especially public consumer web
applications
