They are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions, aiding the business in achieving its financial goals. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to enhance financial performance and provide strategic insights for growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning:

Develop and manage the financial strategy, including budgeting and long-term planning.

Work with executive leadership to align financial objectives with the company’s strategic direction.

Provide financial analysis to support business initiatives and growth opportunities.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Oversee accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly and annual statements.

Lead variance analysis to comment on financial performance and identify key drivers.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulations.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Manage the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads.

Lead financial forecasting, ensuring accuracy aligns with business objectives.

Analyze financial data to predict future trends.

Risk Management & Compliance:

Monitor financial risks related to liquidity, currency, and credit.

Ensure robust financial controls and procedural adherence.

Coordinate audits, ensuring compliance with standards.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting high performance and growth.

Set team goals, conduct performance reviews, and identify training needs.

Collaborate with other departments to align on financial goals.

Cost Control & Efficiency:

Control operational expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Optimize financial processes and implement technology for efficiency.

Stakeholder Management:

Serve as a liaison between finance and senior executives, board members, and other stakeholders.

Present financial insights to leadership and contribute to strategic discussions.

Support investor relations with necessary financial data and analysis.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Experience: 5-7 years in finance/accounting, with 2 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

Strong understanding of financial principles and regulatory requirements.

Proven experience in planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Proficiency in financial software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Leadership experience with a track record of developing teams.

Certifications: ACCA, CPA, CFA, or CMA preferred.

Budget for this role is in the region of 55-65K EUR gross/year, the company might be flexible depending on the candidate’s experience.
