Remotely HR is excited to partner with Splash, the first national brand in pool care, in the search for a detail-oriented Billing Representative. As Splash scales its operations, this role will be essential in supporting their financial processes to maintain healthy cash flow and ensure a positive customer experience.
We’re looking for a candidate who can manage the full billing and collections cycle with precision and professionalism while helping Splash build and optimize financial processes as they continue to grow.
What we’re looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Billing Representative who combines strong financial acumen with excellent customer service skills. This role requires someone who can manage the complete AR cycle while maintaining positive customer relationships. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of billing, collections, and payroll operations, working remotely while maintaining close coordination with our field operations teams. This is a full time contract position.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Accounts Receivable Management
Manage the complete AR cycle from invoice generation to payment collection
Monitor aging reports and maintain a healthy AR profile
Follow up on overdue accounts while maintaining professional customer relationships
Process and reconcile incoming payments with attention to detail
Generate and analyze AR reports for management review
Billing Operations
Create and send accurate, timely invoices to customers
Apply appropriate charges, discounts, and payment terms
Process billing adjustments and credits when necessary
Handle customer billing inquiries and disputes professionally
Document and optimize billing processes as we scale
Payroll Processing
Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time
Calculate wages, overtime, commissions, and deductions
Maintain employee payroll records and documentation
Handle payroll-related inquiries from our field teams
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws
Collections Management
Develop and implement effective collection strategies
Make collection calls and send payment reminder notices
Negotiate payment arrangements with past-due accounts
Meet monthly collection targets and reduce DSO
Maintain professional relationships while pursuing collections
Requirements
3+ years of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable management
Proven track record of maintaining healthy AR aging and successful collections
Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Experience with payroll processing and compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Experience working remotely and managing time effectively
