Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster Trainee/Task Assistant to support our claims team specializing in mobile home insurance. This remote desk position is ideal for those interested in gaining hands-on experience and training in insurance claims adjusting. The trainee will assist licensed claims adjusters with assessing damages, processing claims, and liaising with policyholders, specifically focusing on mobile home-related claims.
Key Responsibilities
Claims Assistance: Support in reviewing, documenting, and processing mobile home-related claims.
Documentation and Reporting: Collect and organize necessary documents, photos, and statements for claims files. Prepare preliminary reports for adjusters.
Policyholder Support: Communicate with policyholders to guide them through the claims process, answer questions, and provide support as needed.
Data Entry: Accurately input claim details into the system for proper tracking and processing.
Learning & Development: Actively participate in on-the-job training, gaining skills in adjusting mobile home claims.
Work Schedule
Hours: 8-hour shifts, 6 days per week.
Start Date: Immediate
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is a plus.
Experience: Previous work experience in insurance or customer service is preferred but not required.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims software is a plus.
Requirements: Must be able to work remotely and manage an 8-hour daily shift effectively.
