As the Field Quote Center Supervisor – Automation & Mechanical, you will be responsible for training and managing a team of Field Quote Support Coordinators to prepare estimates and proposals. You will monitor their effectiveness and responsiveness to customer requests, ensuring the team follows up and secures purchase orders based on Field leads phoned in by Field Mechanics. You will also be responsible for improving customer satisfaction through timely follow-up, and for driving high margin revenue for our Mechanical Services business.
As a Field Quote Center Supervisor – Automation & Mechanical Services, you will:
Track the activity of the Field Quote Support Center and measure its effectiveness based upon KPIs (quotes processed per day, average time to complete quote, quote close ratio, quotes forwarded back to sales for follow, etc.)
Provide feedback to estimating coordinators on performance and responsibilities
Oversee proposals and estimates created by estimating coordinators based on information provided by technical specialists
Train estimating coordinators in effective communication, estimating and proposal generation
Ensure coordinators communicate effectively with Zone Operation Center coordinators when orders are approved and handed off for execution
Ensure follow up on customer proposals and secure purchase orders
Assist in identifying source and cost of repair parts as needed
Reports monthly sales results to the National Service Operations Team
Provides feedback to streamline the estimating process and improve team productivity
Deliver outstanding customer service
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or state-recognized GED
1+ years of supervisory experience in servicing and/or installing mechanical and/or building automation systems
1+ years of experience in HVAC, building automation or mechanical service dispatching
Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and customer service skills
Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical repair services including appropriate labor and materials based on applicable work experience
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage employees
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
Knowledge of accounting principles
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of supervisory experience in servicing and/or installing mechanical and/or building automation systems
3+ years of experience in HVAC, building automation or mechanical service dispatching
Candidates local to the Greater Dallas/Ft. Worth Metro Area
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
Demonstrated understanding of business processes, standard practices, tools, and financial systems within branch operations

The pay range for this position is $66,500 – $114,100 and an annual target bonus of 5%. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
