This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Job Summary
This leadership role is integral to the product development process, transforming new product designs into tangible parts through strategic project management on a part-by-part basis. This position ensures timely delivery while maintaining cost, quality, and fostering robust supplier relationships. As a lead, you will represent the Supplier in internal H-D discussions and act as the key liaison between H-D and its Suppliers. Your accountability extends to nurturing effective supplier relationships and ensuring seamless part delivery to guarantee overall program success.
Job Responsibilities
Focus on Quality, Cost, Timing – Lead and oversee negotiation with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align on best value for H-D in support of the organization’s goals. Partner with Engineering and Supplier Quality counterparts to ensure execution of actions to meet part level deliverables.
Project/Supplier Management – Lead and oversee the management and alignment of supplier critical path plans to meet all project milestones. Drive on-time component development with key stakeholders (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Program Management), advocating for supplier and Supply Chain required lead times. Responsible to escalate issues as they arise throughout the part development process and oversee, create, and execute recovery plans.
Manage Internal and External Stakeholder Requirements – Manage and coordinate internal and external stakeholder requirements throughout all Product Development phases by using standard tools such as prints, SOWs, RFQs, PRDs, PPAP Checklists, etc.. Key stakeholders include Suppliers, Engineering, Regulatory, Functional Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, Packaging, Manufacturing.
Provides informal guidance to new Supply Management team members and impacts the work of others within the group.
Lead and oversee the development, implementation, and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within supply chain management to drive performance and performance improvements. This includes analyzing data to identify trends, ensuring KPIs align with strategic goals, and collaborating with suppliers to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Education Requirements
HS Diploma or GED Required
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Experience Requirements
Required
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Product Development and key business drivers such as Developmental Purchasing, Indirect Procurement, Supply Base, or Supply Chain
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a group and / or team and provide guidance to new team members
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Motorcycle riding experience and knowledge in Harley-Davidson motorcycles and accessories.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
