Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join their team. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites for various clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement solutions, and ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the websites.

Design and develop custom WordPress websites based on client requirements.

Create and modify WordPress themes and plugins.

Optimize website performance and ensure the websites are responsive and mobile-friendly.

Collaborate with designers to implement visual and interactive elements into the websites.

Implement best practices for website security and data protection.

Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks on existing websites.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development.

Work effectively as part of a team and independently on assigned tasks.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.

Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization.

Ability to create clean, efficient, and scalable code.

Familiarity with website security best practices.

Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on time.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with popular WordPress frameworks and page builders, such as Elementor or Divi.

Knowledge of PHP.

Experience with website performance optimization techniques.

Understanding of UX/UI principles for website design.

Experience with website hosting and deployment processes.

Ability to work with clients to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.

The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver, detail-oriented, and have a strong passion for developing high-quality WordPress websites. They will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
