Job description:
The Project Manager – Track Renewal (RVB) is responsible for overseeing all operations related to the renewal of railway tracks and ballast on SETRAG’s network. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and efficiency of the railway while optimizing project timelines, costs, and work quality. The position involves coordinating internal teams and external contractors while maintaining rigorous project oversight, adhering to safety standards, and achieving performance objectives set by SETRAG.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead all Track Renewal (RVB) operations, including managing outsourcing contracts and external service providers.

Ensure work is executed within the allocated timelines and budgets while maintaining the highest quality for renewed infrastructure.

Coordinate maintenance teams and partner companies to ensure efficient planning of work periods and traffic management during operations.

Monitor performance and safety indicators, providing regular updates to the management committee on project progress.

Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards across all project sites.

Contribute to continuous improvement by implementing innovative management processes and practices.

Represent the project to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining close functional relationships with relevant departments (logistics, traffic, maintenance, etc.).

Your Profile:

Engineering degree or equivalent, with proven experience managing railway projects, ideally in track renewal (RVB).

Expertise in managing complex contracts, including large-scale turnkey projects (over €100 million).

Strong project management skills, including planning, budget monitoring, and risk management.

Excellent knowledge of railway infrastructure and renewal techniques (e.g., high-speed renewal methods).

Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and work closely with contractors and diverse stakeholders.

Strong focus on safety and quality, with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Leadership skills, with the ability to set clear objectives and inspire your team to achieve results.

Fluency in both English and French is mandatory
