Headquartered in Kabul, HMLO aims to empower Afghanistan’s war-affected communities by providing quality social services to the most marginalized groups. Founded by a group of compassionate nationalists, the organization envisions a society enriched with civility, tolerance, and respect for rights. Initially engaging in voluntary efforts, HMLO evolved into a structured entity conducting impactful interventions in education, health, women and youth empowerment, governance, emergency response, and human rights. Its initiatives prioritize capacity building and service delivery, ensuring local involvement at the grassroots level.
