This work stems from Mass General Brigham’s unified system strategy to bring high quality health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. MGBMG provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, behavioral and mental health, specialty care, outpatient surgery, endoscopy, imaging, lab services, infusion, and urgent care both digitally and in person in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
The Opportunity:
Under the administrative direction of the Sr Manager of Provider Compensation, the Provider Compensation Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Mass General Brigham Medical Group’s provider compensation programs, model development, provider payroll, and dashboards.
Primary duties to include:
Provide administrative aspects of the Provider Compensation function, contributing to the development and evaluation of new and existing compensation/ productivity programs and overseeing the details related to the daily transactional business of the department.
Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly compensation and productivity reporting.
Prepare monthly financial accruals and balance sheet reconciliations in relation to the provider compensation function.
Participate in annual budget and forecast tasks.
Submission and Participation regarding provider compensation surveys.
Perform data analysis, integrating data from several sources, to evaluate current and future needs in response to market trends, management inquiry, department requests, etc.
Assist the Senior Manager of Provider compensation in developing new compensation arrangements as requested.
Provide routine detailed compensation and productivity analyses, ad hoc analyses and other assignments as needed.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Human Resources, Business Administration.
At least 2 years of work experience in finance or compensation, preferable in health care.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
Experience with Tableau, Hyperion and PeopleSoft preferred.
Working knowledge of SQL or other programming languages like R or Python a plus.
