Our client is a full remote online gaming platform which is on the lookout for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a wealth of experience in AWS cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and advanced cloud engineering methodologies. Only applicants with a demonstrated history of designing and overseeing complex cloud environments will be considered.
Our client will offer a full remote contract via a service agreement, there are basically no restrictions when it comes to location or time zone.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines utilizing AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, and other modern DevOps tools.
Ensure robust security and compliance across cloud infrastructure by leveraging AWS security services.
Architect and manage containerization strategies through EKS, ECS, and Kubernetes.
Implement advanced monitoring and observability solutions using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and various third-party tools.
Optimize cloud costs and performance through strategic architectural decisions.
Develop and maintain thorough documentation for cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering.
Expert-level proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Preferred professional AWS certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
Advanced skills in:
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)
Scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
Comprehensive understanding of cloud security best practices.
Proven experience with microservices architecture.
Strong problem-solving and architectural design abilities.
Technical Skills
Cloud Platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS
CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
