Job Summary:
– Role: DataOps Engineer
– Main Responsibilities: Developing, deploying, and maintaining the enterprise data platform, working with a team of data scientists, engineers and analysts.
– Tasks include: design solutions for the platform, improve team processes, encourage team growth, administer the platform, identify automation opportunities, ensure SLAs are met, resolve issues with other engineers, participate in oncall rotations.
– Required Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of Data Operations experience, strong experience with GCP services and Terraform, experience with Cloud Resources administration and Python programming, Docker, Docker Compose, Kunernetes, CI/CD tools, observability tooling, Release Management, managing data and build pipelines.
– Skills: Excellent organization and communication due to the high incident response nature of the role.
