Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
Prepare and submit VAT declarations for Belgium and the Netherlands
Perform bank reconciliations and handle payments
Oversee monthly financial closings for Belgium and the Netherlands
Collaborate closely with the Finance Team
Work with external tax consultants for tax declarations and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations
Profile
Your Profile
3 to 5 years of experience as a General Accountant
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience in the retail sector is a strong advantage
Knowledge of Belgian and Dutch accounting practices is highly preferred
Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and financial reporting tools
Fluent in English and good level in Dutch (French is a plus but not mandatory)
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously
