We’re seeking a Market Research & Business Development Representative to drive our company acquisition strategy through comprehensive market research, data analysis, and strategic outreach. This role is crucial in identifying potential software companies for acquisition, conducting thorough market analysis, and supporting the development of compelling acquisition proposals. The position will evolve from initial intensive research to ongoing deal sourcing and relationship building.

Market Research & Analysis
Conduct in-depth research on small software companies
Create and maintain detailed company profiles in Notion
Analyze financial information and market positioning
Develop comprehensive market intelligence reports
Utilize AI-powered research tools for efficient data gathering
Database Management & Documentation
Build and maintain contact databases of key decision-makers
Update and organize research findings in Notion
Document company valuations and financial metrics
Create presentation materials for potential acquisitions
Validate and verify financial information
Business Development & Outreach
Develop personalized email marketing sequences
Conduct initial outreach to company owners/founders
Engage in meaningful conversations about potential buyouts
Document all communication and follow-ups
Discuss legacy preservation and employee protection with prospects
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Analyze company financial data and metrics
Create visual presentations of financial information
Summarize revenue and profitability data
Document employee structure and associated costs
Prepare financial validation reports
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
Proven experience with Notion and database management
Background in market research and data analysis
Experience with Apollo or similar prospecting tools
Strong understanding of business financials
Excellent communication skills for outreach activities
Proficiency with AI-powered research tools
WFH Set-Up:
Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
Back-up computer and internet connection

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, will follow CST (Central Standard Time) schedule
Occasional weekend availability for urgent matters
20 hours per week
Compensation:
