Job Description
The Chief Medical Administrator serves as a key operational enabler, supporting the clinical team in the delivering the capabilities outlined in the contract. This role acts as the principal interface in providing personnel, logistic and operational integration with external agencies. The CMA’s assistance to the project manager and the chief medical officer is critical for mission success.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities:

Assists the PM with:

Administrative duties, monitoring conduct and performance of staff, leave and rest schedules, duty rosters, staff discipline, approving pay and allowances, travel, security, insurance coverages, and assure medical and general welfare of contracted staff.

Coordinating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

Managing and delivering aspects of personnel induction on site.

Managing and overseeing the facility’s ongoing training plan.

Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.

Submitting project deliverables and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Preparing status reports by gathering, analysing, and summarizing relevant information.

Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring its execution.

Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.

Ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies are implemented and followed by all staff.

Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.

Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.

Managing customer satisfaction within project transition period.

Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Assists the CMO with:

Overseeing committees, clinical support functions and interface with clients.

Coordinating care for beneficiaries.

Attending non-clinical meetings with clients.

Planning medical operations.

Additional Duties:

Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ project management experience, preferably in a challenging geographical location.

Bachelor’s degree or master’s in business or administration preferred.

Experience working in a busy medical clinic required.

Medical background preferred.

Overseas experience and contracting with DoD or DOS preferred.

Key Skills:

Demonstrable experience of leading a large team of clinical and non-clinical staff.

Knowledge of clinical administrative processes.

Excellent planning and organizing skills.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of clinical administrative processes.

Excellent IT skills including use of electronic medical records systems.

Efficient computer skills and the ability to operate MS Office with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team, with clinical and non-clinical personnel.

This position is unaccompanied.

Ability to obtain a base security clearance.

Must be able to relocate to Doha, Qatar.

A valid passport from Country of Record is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
